The Research Office’s mission is to foster, enhance and promote organized, high-quality, industry-sponsored clinical trials here at Holy Spirit Hospital. By promoting clinical research, Holy Spirit can meet its goals of expanding services, embracing medical advances and investing in leading technology. We are committed to providing compassionate care to our patients who are involved in clinical research.

Institutional Review Board

Holy Spirit’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) is dedicated to promoting the protection of human subjects in research. All personnel that are involved in the design, conduct or report of research awarded through our IRB receive ongoing training in the protection of human subject protection. The Institutional Review Board meets on the third Wednesday of every month in the Ortenzio Heart Center.
