What is Spirit of Women?
Building on a long tradition of excellence in caring for women, Holy Spirit Health System has joined Spirit of Women. More than just a media campaign or series of events, Spirit of Women is a growing movement connecting leading hospitals and health care systems across the USA and supported by corporate partners and national media who are dedicated to advancing the cause of women’s health - mind, body, and spirit.
Spirit of Women is about motivating and inspiring women to make positive changes to lead their best, healthiest life. It’s about empowering women to guide their own wellness journey. It’s about recognizing that women are often pulled in many directions. It’s about Holy Spirit’s commitment to caring.
Holy Spirit is also participating in Spirit of Nursing, a pilot program of Spirit of Women intended to celebrate and recognize professional nurses on our staff and in the community. The Spirit of Nursing program includes educational modules such as “Caring for the Caregiver” and “Planning for Your Financial Future,” as well as Holy Spirit celebration events.

Why Focus on Women?
At Holy Spirit, we realize the pivotal role that women play in health and wellness decisions for themselves and their families. We want to demonstrate our commitment through this partnership in the ongoing celebration of women's health, and through our belief that knowledge, access, and community support are the keys to wellness.
How Can I Get Involved?
Holy Spirit Health System wants to include everyone in the planning and presentation of Spirit of Women in our community: individuals, local media, doctors, nurses, health system staff, regional businesses, faith-based organizations and community centers.
